The
Cascade Medical Center
Foundation hosted the Sixth
Annual Cascade Golf Classic
a the Leavenworth Golf Club
on June 16, 2008.
A typical, beautiful
and sunny Leavenworth day
greeted a field of 120
players ready to compete for
prizes and a lot of fun
throughout the day.
Proceeds from the
tournament go toward the
purchase of the HydroWorx
therapy pool for the
Physical Therapy Department
at Cascade Medical Center.
The is the first year of a
two-year fundraising
project with installation of
the hydrotherapy pool during
the Cascade Medical Center
construction and remodeling
project. The Foundation is
selling "Fill The Pool
T-Shirts" as a new
fundraiser with all proceeds
going to the purchase of the
therapy pool. These
T-Shirts can be purchased at
Cascade Medical Center and
by calling the Foundation
office at 548-2523. The
successful 2007 tournament
raised $28,000.00 to

densitometer for the
diagnosis and monitoring of
osteoporosis.
More than 50 volunteers
helped the Foundation on
tournament day, with many
others providing assistance
in preparation for the
event. The Foundation owes
a great deal of gratitude to
this tremendous volunteer
work force.

excellent condition and the
Golf Club staff, Pro Shop
staff and maintenance crew
worked hard for the
professional way in which
the day proceeded.
All players were treated to
a continental breakfast
following registration.

start, there were putting
and chipping contests.
Volunteers were disbursed
throughout the course
providing water and
assistance to players as
they made their way through
a Shamble format.

was held on the 12th hole.
Reichart Nissan of Wenatchee
provided an Altima as the
prize for this contest.There
was not a winner this year.
